Tip #1 - Make it Readable - One very important tip for creating a resume that will stand out among the rest is to make it easily readable. Make sure that your resume is no more than a couple pages long, otherwise employers may just skip over your resume if it is too long. You should also be sure that you use a font that is large enough to be easily read. If the employer has to strain their eyes to see your resume, they may just bypass it for one that is more easily read.
Craft your resume flawless by making it free by any typographical errors. Check it and than double-check it. Just one error can give the impression of unprofessionality and carelessness and can also cost your job as well.
6) Mentioning the salary history is a big no-no while writing your resume. Not only it is pointless; employers may get a wrong message as a result. Always keep in mind that a resume is a unique channel through which you broadcast your skills and value not a way to tell your cost to the company.
